Seeing the smile on my ten year old son's face when he un-boxed his Denon m39 micro system, Q acoustics 2020i speakers and QED original cables terminated at both ends with their air lock plugs.

It has left a very big impression on him and he has a 24/7 grin on his face which in turn has left a 24/7 grin on my face.

Merry Christmas!

Ex dem NDS. Bought for ourselves.

Set it up yesterday. Failed to move from the settee after that. Passed the 'wife test' with flying colours in that she was fighting over the playlist.

As for the worst.... my wife had been nagging me to fix the toilet seat in the en-suite bathroom, so I gave her a toilet seat for Xmas.  She also received some Auto Glym car wax and a bale of microfibre cloths.............................. for the new car she's taking delivery of next month.

I got a packet of rich tea biscuits from my mother in law, not a nice fancy box of biscuits you get at Xmas, just a plain ordinary packet of rich tea biscuits.

i am not sure what the message is she is trying to tell me.

That's funny. I remember the year Christmas died for me. It was mid 70s and I was twenty or so. I got a jumper with a hole in it, a pair of gloves that was too small, a clock with one hand and two umbrellas. Welcome to adult life.
