iMac question

Are all the 21.5 " slim versios iMacs fixed memory? I know the 27" can be user upgraded and latest 21.5 can't.
Just checked on Apple Store re iMacs. The cheapest 21.5" is restricted to 8GB, but the two more expensive models can be upgraded to 16GB. If you want 32GB in a new iMac, you'll have to go up to a bigger screen model.

If you're looking to buy an iMac, do look at the new iMac 27 retina if you haven't already. It's stunning.
I just spotted a 21.5 in the local Exchange place and thought "maybe".
I'll probably get a Mac mini and sort out the NAS music/iTunes from that and free my iMac up for other duties. Hopefully it may keep going a bit longer.

My, yes. Quite unbelieveably good, isn't it.

TBH I've never failed to be impressed with my 2008 24" iMac screen. Retina didn't make enough of a difference on the iPads whether it's better on the big screen i can't say. Saying that 27 " screen might just be a step too far.

I much prefer all the retina displays. On the 27" it is even more stunning.

I respect your restraint. And in the end if you choose differently that's great. But trust Winky and I. At least look at the iMac retina 27. It really is that good and not just because of the screen.
