Naim App. with MU-SO

I am very new to using quality equipment and purchased a MU-SO a few weeks ago. I find the sound quality to be fantastic and I am getting used to the network dropouts, the poor remote control, BBC internet problems, etc. One question. I did expect to be able to fast forward a track with the Naim app. on my iPad. I am asking for too much?
