Unitiqute 2 iRadio

Posted by: Jondhall on 06 January 2015

I have a strange issue with my antiquate. Twice now it has turned on the iradio on its own. I listen to radio 4 most of the day so it is often left on iradio, but turned off.

A couple of these events have been in the middle of the night.

Had it a few months and only just started with this strange behaviour. I did update to the latest firmware just prior to this starting if that points to anything.

Anyone else had this happen and anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Creepy stuff..

When I did not use UQ2 I always switched input to ‘analog’ which was given a new moniker as ‘standby’ at the beginning. Now I simply turn off both UQ2 and Nap100 instead of leaving them idling. I have not yet updated the f/w on UQ2 but plan (consider) doing it soon.

It seems more and more people running the latest fware these days but this is not widely reported. Hmm..

Is your Unitiqute obsolete, or were you just using predictive text?

Ha ha yep predictive text. Although my unitiqute does not have the new Bluetooth board.

This happened to my Superuniti without Bluetooth too.

A few times at about 1:45 a.m., but only one time I was asleep.

So I restarted it with the power switch the next day in the afternoon and it started playing music (Webradio) ~24h later on its own.

It could have something to do with the last used input source. I use 'uPnP', 'Webradio' and 'Analog2'.

I also disabled Wifi to make sure that the iPhone app isn't messing around.

Maybe the Uniti restart changed the starttime?

Or maybe the disabled alarm is still active but with another time zone?

Currently I use both alarms, but it also happened with them disabled.

Latest firmware 4.1 is installed!

Tried taking the batteries out of the remote?
