Firmware update on UQ2

Thought I had to report back. The other day UQ2 was updated to f/w 4.01 by my dealer. It has been nicely playing along all those Naim, Linn and RP 320 kbps stations without a hitch, no wildly fluctuating buffer levels, no unwarranted dropouts etc. since it was home. It is just solid.
 
UQ2 is again hardwired to the router like before but this time it is connected to Airport Extreme against previous Express. (this is the second Air. Extreme on the network) Dunno which contributes to fix my prolonged iRadio reception issues, update or new router or both? Even Spotify connect integration is seamless compared to the one with Muso when I had that thingy I remember.
 
Weird.. because I did not really expect any good outcome of latest f/w update considering all those troublesome posts, let alone the new found cure. Glad that I took my chances.
 
To be frank I have been preparing to sell it on and get a well-endowed  streamer (Pioneer N70 or Auralic Aries) or simply make do with el cheapo but my super effective and reliable SBT>MF M1 DAC>Nap100 as a second system. But seeing that UQ2 has been kind of given a new lease of life I decide to keep it a little more.
 
Who knows maybe Naim could make me pleasantly surprised again. We all live in hope..
