New series of the brilliant Paris-set French cop show, starting tonight on BBC4 at 9pm. One the advantages of being utterly skint in January is that one has the perfect excuse not to go out on a Saturday night and stay in and watch quality subtitled TV instead.

Why oh why did she run to 'Oz'...Maybe the next series will have her awakening with babe in arms...the whole thing being a bad dream?

 

Not sure I fancy 'Hostage'...looks a bit like watching the regular Channel 4 news.

That series was sooo good. I absolutely loved it. Brilliant acting, plotting, writing, characterisation... and what a way to end. I can't wait for season 6.

Great series, thoroughly enjoyed it again.

 

As you say though Graeme, 'Hostage' might seem a bit too close to reality...
