serislyMP3-losy comp incresin info comuncaton?

MP3 just throws away the less important stuff.

And 24 bit does what? Adds curly bits to the letters?

Like jpg throws away the less important stuff from photos, which is why magazines and image galleries insist on lossless formats and I shoot in raw. I only listen to mp3 to test albums on spotify before I buy them, the difference is significant. I don't see the point in spending thousands of pounds on hifi to get as much as possible from my files and then feed it music with bits taken out

Wow, this one's right up there with "humming along to the tune"!

That's still less clear and less readable

Less important maybe, but not unimportant - you are further illustrating my point.

Yes I am. It's a good point. Although maybe pointless for most of us here.

MP3 perfect for car audio please don't do the eye sight test whilst driving

I don't have 240V AC in my car, so I can't test that. And speaker positioning would be very difficult. I do listen to MP3s on my car's dedicated system, although this wan't in the scope of your OP.
