Here here we go again. Williams is the first to unveil their new car for the 2015 season.

Oh, dear! It looks like the trend this year among the designers and engineers are uglier and wider front spoilers. I wonder what the other teams are going to come up with!

I'm always amazed a the complexity of the aero bibs-and-bobs on the spoilers. It's as if they ever add a winglet or a vane, the rules then prohibit them from removing it for future iterations. They can only add more!

The new cars always look a bit ugly until you get used to them. But this looks better than those step-down noses, and the anteater nose is a little less disgusting. When are the low-profile tyres coming in?

Blame the rules not the teams. The management of airflow is all when the cars rely so much on aero for grip.

I pointed out how horrible the cars look to my mate who works as a senior aero designer in F1. 'No prizes for beauty' was his response. Look how horrible Le Mans cars are getting with all the winglets etc. He had a hand in one of them too!
