watch for a new album from Naim a girl called Eska

just listening to a white label pressing, beautiful record. out soon
What style/genre, Paul?
She is Eska Mtungwazi, from South London. She has an outstanding voice, and happens to be a delightful person too. She released an EP called Gatekeeper in 2013 on her own label, I think.
She has done lots of sessions over the years and you can catch her on Cinematic Orchestra, and David Sylvian records, amongst others.
Well worth listening to.
That's the lady.
Here's the EP - https://eskaonline.bandcamp.com/
This might be the thread to ask this on then:
On this recording is the actual recording hi resolution and if so how is this achieved?
Is it simply a matter of the recoding done digitally at a 24-192 resolution?
Apologies if this is a stupid question I'm trying to get my head around what chicanery is done to a music file to get it into 24-192, 24-96,24-48 and 14-44.
thanks
SJB
Listened to the Gatekeeper EP. What an annoying voice. Looks like I've saved some more money.

Yep me too, give, I'll give this one a miss.....
I liked 'gatekeeper' enough to buy a copy, but each to their own.

Yes of course, it would be a boring old world if everyone liked the same things.......
So true it always amazes me that even with friends that have almost the same record collections, there are still many points of "dispute" shall we say?
Just had a listen to the Gatekeeper EP - I really liked Red
