Mu-so as soundbar - temporary loss of sound

When watching TV, after an hour or so the mu-so suffers loss of sound with blinking white light for about 10 seconds, before reverting back to normal by itself. It's an optical connection from the Sony TV. Mu-so is also directly connected to my Apple timecapsule router.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The Mu-So in question appears to be offered through a 3rd party selling agent. They mention that the Bluetooth tends to drop hence they offer no warranty and are selling on a "spares and repairs" basis - a common get-round for a company to avoid having to warrant their item or faceresponsible return. My guess here is that this item falls outside of their expertise. A weird one because, as Phil mentions above, if there was a problem with it, it would still be under warranty. So who knows what the story is here..?
