Internet radio stations

anyone else having issues with ( in particular) Radio 4 / Radio 4extra...uniti will not play either at the moment!...
Planet Rock is ok though!
I also have lost all my BBC AAC feeds. It doesn't matter where I look, all are broadcasting at MP3 48khz ..... Absolute crap !
The BBC website says they are changing more stations to the AAC standard. So why have those ones already changed now gone to MP3?
Hmm it does demonstrate the fragility of current web radio implementations.. I am sure it will all get sorted shortly for a while at least. At least for BBC R1,2,3,4 you still have the lossless excellent FM network feeds until it's fixed.

This morning I'm getting Radio 3 at 320 AAC, Radio 4 and 5 Live are AAC at 128 AAC, 6 Music at 128 MP3, and I can't get Radio 2.
Does this suggest they're slowly switching off their old gear and bring the new stuff on line? The Blog last year from the chap in charge makes it clear they're moving dumping WMA and moving to AAC. I think MP3 is there for some types of receiver or catch up. I'll check in a minute.

Jim Simmons is the man in charge. His 24 September blog shows that they're replacing old equipment and ending WMA, which will save them money.
He tells us that the MP3 feeds will be up before they switch off WMA. This implies a gap between stopping WMA and starting AAC on the new gear.
MP3 will stay for a year or two for owners of radios that can't receive WMA Live feeds.

You're getting something different to me Kieth.
R3 is not available under the "Popular Stations" listing although its on "Naims Choice", but its showing as 32khz 56kb/s. I guess its up to vTuner & Naim to populate what we get in the app.
WMA has gone for a few days now, its either MP3 or AAC. But it seems to all be WIP so I'm not getting too excited (yet), & like Simon sez, we have got FM (my preferred BBC listen) & RP, Naim & Linn are alive & well.
R4 & others on my 'favourites' seem to have gone awol...?

Think I may go back to good ole FM but I'll need a new dedicated FM twig. Mind you it might be worth it can't be bothered with all the faffing around losing stations dropouts etc.
just to add there seems to be a problem listening to pod casts where they start fine and after a few minutes they start over again even though the pod cast has not finished ( LBC listener )
