I've had a look and the prices are competitive. I also note there are some albums that have been region restricted in the UK, like Santana Abraxas, are available to buy on the site.

Not so sure about competitive pricing

Onkyo are selling Diana Krall “Wallflower” 16 track deluxe edition 24/48kHz at £21.99 (GBP)

Qobuz (same spec) price is £18.88

HighResAudio is £17.00

I tend to go to HRA on the first call & find they always have best pricing, but their catalog is not as extensive as Qobuz.

It looks like the usual suspects being sold at around Qobuz prices. I expect you'll find some comparative bargains and rip offs if you look hard enough.

Nothing new to see here although money off offers could make a difference.

But the 16/44.1kHz version is £2 cheaper. The hi-res is only 48kHz so there is probably little difference in SQ.

The highres aspect is in the 24-bit vs 16-bit, not so much in the sample frequency.

Really? There are many who would disagree.

I meant in this case of the 48/24 the highres is in the 24-bit.

But I'm not sure many would disagree actually.

Most people's opinions I have read about say they experience bigger quality improvement from 24-bit over 16-bit than say 96kHz over 44kHz.

A bit difficult to test as there are releases in both 44/16 and 44/24, but not likely 44/24 and 96/24 nor 44/16 and 96/16.

This also remains one of those ongoing themes one does not get consensus about.
