CDs ripping software.

A fellow worker asked me to rip some of my cds in mp3 format into a memory stick.

I realized i have quite a large number of "copy control" CDs with that band that freeze my software and don't let it handle tracks. I use Free Ac audio converter.

Anyone sorted problem out with another soft?

Thanks a lot!

iTunes. And you can rip into a variety of formats, including uncompressed WAV or AIFF files.

+1.

The much-maligned iTunes is pretty good at dealing with copy-protected CDs. I had one recently. Neither Itunes nor XLD on the Mini would do it, but iTunes on my wife's MBP handled it without fuss.

Thanks a lot! ITunes yes! I'll try to find a way to export the playlist file into the stick.

My Ipod is filled with tracks (mainly bootlegs) i downloaded and converted from Youtube using 4K software so i did not realize that band on the cds doesn't even let you upload tracks on notebook.....

Thanks again!

You are going perform theft for a co-worker?

Never downloaded a single song from torrent mules etc. I downloaded and converted things like Mark Knopfler Avo session because they can make me fly over the swanp i have to live in every day.

Btw is very frustrating getting original records and discover you can't even make your own copy for the car or cell phone.

She is a good fellow worker and she asked for some music to listen when she not on shift. No theft. Spreading experience. IMHAO
