Community Rank change

Posted by: Loki on 22 February 2015

Weird one this, I've just noticed that my ranking has gone up rather than down in the last month. Do I need to write more? ('No! please the gods, no!' I hear you cry.)

I am answered! No-one cares! I shall not care either, although can we keep the embarrassing lack of correspondence just  between us, lest Odin take offence at my inadequate communication and leadership skills?

Yep, I think you've interpreted the situation with a degree of accuracy, Loki.

I have had success changing my community ranking with useless picture-only postings in the Music Room.  Some members have reacted with jealously and outrage.

I had no idea I might have also adversely affected your ranking Mr. Loki.

If my fault, I accept complete responsibility.  Please accept my sincerest apology.  But don't expect me to change.

Try listening in MP3. A lot. And especially non-classical, useless pap music.  It may make a difference.

Hoping you reach the ranking you, yourself, aspire to.

best

It's not until one of these threads start (we've had them before) that I even get curious about my "rank".

Posted on: 27 February 2015 by Loki

Cheers guys, you made me smile. Jeff, thanks for taking responsibility: very good of you. And we Asgaardians don't require the prefix 'Mr', just a little humble deification and self-sacrifice will do .

Glad to be of help DrMark! My curiosity was roused by the fact that my ranking was on the slide. I can only concur with previous posts on this subject that the ranking system does not appear to follow a linear progression.

You could start to publisch a famous quote, a poem or anything else every 10 minutes and I sure after a couple of years you would be at the top of the list.....

Cheers Bert, good advice. Now we know how you made it to the 200s. I'll start composing something  suitably ethereal.
