Mu-So - Airplay Question

Just a quick question please for Mu-So owners.

A colleague of mine is considering purchasing one of these and will wish to use Airplay. He wants to be sure that Airplay works if the Mu-So is connected using a wired Ethernet connection.

Apparently he has another device that will only work on Airplay if used on a wireless connection.

Airplay works with both on my MuSo.
