It's back. I've not watched any yet, so couldn't possibly comment.

Are you talking of the original superb UK series or the new USA version?

Saw the original years ago Steve...brilliant.

The Kevin Spacey led Netflix version is excellent however and after 2 seasons avid watching another 13 episodes arrived from today!

I have enjoyed the previous two seasons and I'll watch the just released third but I do have some issues.

Principly some of the plot lines border on the ridiculous And while I enjoy a good sex scene, some of the sex scenes seem so contrived that they feel more like an exercise in marketing the production than a service to the plot.

Kevin Spacey comes across as more of a thug, that the sinister machiavellian character Ian Richardson conveyed in the original BBC production. Robin Wright as Clare Underwood is on the other hand more interesting in my view because she channels sinister and malevolent so much better than Spacey.

Those issues aside I do think it's good and compared to much of the rubbish on these days it good to see Netflix investing in this type of production.

I'm enjoying the US version and although I much admire Spacey's work I don't think it is a patch on the UK version. Someone ought to have had a few words with the writer of the US version and put a bit of stick about.

+1. I watched the first season of the US version, having watched the British version long ago. I watched the British version again with my wife, and we didn't have much use for the US version after that.
