Uniti display issues when using control app

Hello

 

Do any of the Naim gurus out there have any advice on the following problem?

 

I have a Uniti (mk 1) that works brilliantly except that it has a tendency to blank its display after using either iOS or Android control apps.  The suppied remote still works fine, but the on-device buttons (e.g. mute) usually freeze while the display is blank.  Things do return to normal after the device has been switched off for a while, but powering down the remote apps or restarting the router usually have no effect. The period of time before the display returns at power on seems to vary.

Sounds like a faulty uniti to me. I've got the Mk1 and have never experienced a blank display. Does it only happen when using the app ? What firmware are you running ?

Hey Redmires. Thanks so much for your response. It's actually cured itself - or maybe I've cured it - it's hard to tell!  I powered it off, disconnected the network cable, left it alone for ten minutes, then switched on with no network connection ... back came the display.  I've set the display to always display something, even just the clock, so we'll see what happens.
