Tidal streaming

i hope Naim can bring this to us soon, I have it on my Linn system and it is really superb. Naim system makes me select spotify then pushes me to a spotify app. None of this nonsense with the Linn integration ... Done in the same control panel and the sound quality is outstanding .... Please Naim do it for us

At least, not until Tidal can provide the same gapless playback and access to booklets that Qobuz seem to manage quite easily.

Incidentally, if you open the Spotify app first, and hit the connect button, it will automatically switch your Naim device to the Spotify input AND give you access to a volume control. That's seamless enough for me.

I am running Tidal as a beta user on SONOS. Last night, listening to Tilden Webb Trio featuring Fathead Newman, it seemed like gapless play was working between tracks with audience sounds and at the end where there was 20 seconds of silence followed by audience noise, tables being cleared, like the end of the gig. Similar to what you might hear on some early rock albums where the music apparently ends, then with a surprise mini-track at the end before the lead-out groove.

Encouraging.

Linn's implementation of Tidal is gapless I believe. Can't be difficult.
