Connecting HDX to DAC to Supernait 2

Posted by: Checkthisout68 on 09 March 2015

Hi, I have purchased a second hand DAC today originally from 2012.

I would like to put it between my HDX and my Supernait 2.

So, from DAC into Supernait I take I will use DIN-5.

But from HDX into DAC there a several options.

What is the recommendation?

Thanks,

Chris

That should be BNC into BNC then, which is the NAIM DC1 cable, correct?

Right, BNC !

yeah, but both ends? Ex HDX only BNC is possible (besides toslink) but into DAC you can choose RCA or Cinch and NAIM offers both cables: BNC to BNC and BNC to RCA.

Which one is better?

BNC to BNC is the better method of ensuring the required 75 ohm impedance.

Naim DC1 BNC to BNC.

Note that like any other Naim cable the DC1 is directional. The end identified by the marker "Naim DC1" in black & white should be connected to the source.
