Well, its the change to daylight saving time in the UK this weekend. I wonder whether we'll see the new firmware update shortly after the clocks go forward?

Thank's guys. I will do this ASAP :-)

My 'room' has disappeared from the Naim app.  Any suggestions?!

Sorted...but still don,t know why it was necessary.

"Fixed: Incorrect daylight saving popup" : Sadly I'm still getting it.

For infos, my iPhone is in English UK but the location is in GMT-4 timezone where we don't change into DST - we stay the same all year round. The timezone is hence, GMT-4 with no DST enabled.

Every time I open the app (or restart it from a screen-off situation) I get the pop-up.

Any help appreciated.

I have a suggestion for the next update if naim staff ever reads that.

Would it be possible to "glue" volume control to the "home screen" of the app? I believe volume control is the most accessed feature so shortening the way to it by one click would be awesome.

Even better if it was possible to link it with iOS volume control via home screen swipe up ...

Not a biggie but I think it would make the use faster ...

Just a little thing... But is there any chance that when browsing the UPnP tree, as well as a "back" button you could click to go to the root of the server you're browsing. A little thing but you may have browsed 6-8 layers to choose classical ... Composer - Beethoven - Conductor - Karajan - Orchestra - Berlin Pilharmoniker - Composition - 9th Symphony.

'Good to hear that the random iRadio switch on will shortly be fixed by a firmware update.

I still cannot use the Naim App most of the time as it cannot find my ND5XS on the home network.

When I first switch on the ND5XS, the Naim App finds it and everything works fine, but within a few hours the ND5XS disappears and I'm stuck with front panel control.

I find it strange that the ND5XS will still play a upnp stream or iRadio, but yet will not respond to a ping request - it is the only device on my home network that behaves strangely.

YES – please add these two features (actually any one on these will help)

Just noticed that the time/progress bar on the naim app (iPad 2) seems to miss 2 seconds in every 10 i.e. it will show 10 secs then pause and show 13 secs then will pause again at 20 secs until 23 secs. It does this every 10 seconds. The music on my NDS is continuous and the playback time on the NDS display doesn't have the same issue.

Is this a known issue?

Is it possible to add a time seek (by touching the songs progress bar by example) and fast forward / fast rewind features while playing songs (over usb / dlna) ?

I agree, this would be much better than faffing around unlocking your iPad, especially when you need the volume down fast, e.g. to take a phonecall or answer the door. Unfortunately, I have a suspicion that this level of integration with iOS is not an option for Naim streamers (although the volume buttons on iOS devices will control my Superuniti volume when playing Spotify.)

The Rovi service can be very useful and when it works it's appreciated.

But can the App stop making stupid guesses when it can't find an exact match? I have no expectations whatsoever of Rovi knowing about the weird stuff I download off Bandcamp but when I play "Duet: Original Soundtrack" by Tim Shiels, I don't think "Shine A Light: Original Soundtrack" by The Rolling Stones is much of a near miss.

I've also had examples where a random word from an album title has been used to dig up an Artist from Rovi. If you don't find a match on artist then just tell Rovi to post a generic screen. If you do find a match on artist then I'm up for fuzzy matches on title.

It's not the end of the world if there's nothing to be done about it, just a (very) minor irritation.
