Great tracks both. The Rammstein already owned and loved but the Matthew Halsall was new and delightful and is waiting to be downloaded. Lovely stuff.
As ever, a real delight to meet up with Gazza and a fascinating opportunity to hear some variations in a top notch Naim system in an impeccable listening room. I think I was almost as surprised as he was with the differences between the cables - they were not small - and, yes, the Indigo was a stonker. One of the things I really like about Chord cables is their rhythmic integrity - all the Naim groove with a sense of the band working together and enjoying themselves. In the case of the Indigo, this was in abundance. Good job I didn't bring the Sarum Supers with me
.
I've heard Gary's 555 on a number of occasions and it's an utterly fab CD player but I'm going to have to agree with him when he says he needs to consider his source options from here on. The streamer combo in this instance was fabulous.
