Amazon Italy for classical fans

Posted by: Bert Schurink on 16 March 2015

i have now seen multiple examples where it's worthwhile to order your classical box sets from Amazon Italy rather than for instance Amazon Germany. We are talking about massive differences for sets which cost in Ger,any 117 euros and in Italy only 53 euros (Mehta Box, Geumiaux Box). It's in those cases worthwhile to accept the additional fee for sending the product to in my case Germany.

I would recommmend to check prices for music with http://www.bookbutler.com/ on the music tab.

It will check many online stores and all amazon stores as well.

Great Aleg, thank you. Also at Bert, totally true: sometime Amazon Italy do discounts for box collections.

Oops, now I have to be more fast than usual!

That's a great tip, it does however somehow miss amazon.it, at least it did with 2 box-sets and 1 book I just tried.

For checking prices on all European Amazons, this is very useful: http://www.curiua.com
