DAC-V1 & DSD

Anybody knows if the Dac-V1 will be able to read DSD files with the next firmware upgrade like the ND series ?

Doubt it ...

So do I, but if the built-in DACs in Naim streamers can play them, I can't see why it should be so difficult to make the V1 play them too.....

Well @Wat if you are right the situation is the following: Naim has 1 outdated and 1 non DSD upgradable DAC. Naim has to work harder or the Hugo will make severe damages to Naim customer base !

DAC-V1 has same DSP as DAC and NDX, but would also require Audiophilleo update, thought these shouldn't be deal breakers - I know at least two people who are holding off until this is decided....
