At last! A quality friction gear lever set for flat and comfort bars ...

If you have a great road frame with down tube friction gear shifting levers, then till recently you had a problem moving the gears to to handle-bar.

 

Finally IRD have come up with a less than cheap, though nicely made , solution:

You will need a pair of these:

and some skill or a friendly Local Bike Shop to fit, but for us older people it solves a problem of trying to keep riding our favourite bikes of thirty odd years ...

I am on down-tube  Campagnolo "C" Record shifters on the Carlton, but only for another month or two!
