Despite installing a dedicated spur I was still getting the occasional transformer hum especially when my coffee machine or the wife's hair straighteners where in use, having recently purchased a NS01 the interference has disappeared.
Plus the NS is very good even though it's a 1st generation and standard spec

Adding an NS01 to the rack stopped transformer hum in a power supply or amp?

Have you tried a brick of equal weight?

Installing a spur will do nothing for DC offset anyway (the usual culprit for vibration) Something else has changed on your local 'grid' and the NS01 addition is most likely coincidental. My kit is silent when the local milking machines are not running morning and evening.
