If I use a computer to access the files on my Unitiserve (in OS X finder, as opposed to N-Serve) I am asked to connect as either a Guest, or a Registered User. I don't recall having to set up a user name or password, so I only have guest access. I can see my music files in the MQ and Download folders; the other, mysteriously named files appear empty. There's no mention of this in the manual.
Am I missing something by not being able to sign in, or is it all irrelevant and/or something imposed by OS X?

Same here when using a MacBook. Just sign in as a guest ; you're not missing anything. (Connecting with a PC is simpler, as the UnitiServe simply shows up as part of the network).
Are the other "mysteriously" named folders LQ and HQ ?

Jan I'm pretty sure you're right and I'm not missing anything. Just wondered if anybody knew for sure.
Yes, I was referring to HQ, MQ, LQ and EX folders, one can guess at what that means; again, I was just curious.

Hi Chris,
LQ : low quality
MQ : medium quality
HQ : high quality
If you set the U/S to shadow code rips into MP3, they will show up in LQ.
UnitiServe WAV rips will be under MQ.
I've never seen anything in the HQ folder... one can only wonder what was planned for this.
