Is it possible to change the order of radio presets in nStream?

thanks!

Yes. Select 'edit presets' at the bottom of the list. Then drag the stations to the order you want.

I tried this, but it doesn't work with latest version of nStream.

Can someone try it and confirm to me that it works, please.

Cheers!

It works for me on the latest version, 4.5. Just press and hold the preset station name, and drag it up or down the list.

Cool - it works now.

I was listening to the Muso and trying to change the presets on the Superuniti. Nstream has to be on the same room as the device you are listening to.

I have a UQ2 and the 4.5 app on an iPhone 5S. I can get into edit mode and drag single items. However, strange things happen upon dropping it to the desired new position. For example, the preset text morphs into the duplicate of an adjacent preset. In other words, the dragged preset is gone, and instead I end up with a duplicate of one of the other presets instead. When I then check the actual order that I've ended up with on the UQ itself, I don't see any duplicates fortunately, but I end up with some random placement for the preset that I attempted to move.

After a few tries, the entropy is increasing, and I gave up for now.

Mine has always worked OK,  it takes a delicate touch with a gentle push to the left to get it to move & softly softly on the landing.

Its strange how we seem to get these variables,  duplicate morphs, etc..  A friend of mine just couldn't get his drag'n'drop to stick, I told him to try an app reset & it was OK afterwards, might be worth a try,  or go mad & delete & reinstall.

I've also edited mine so the text so fits better on the Naim display screen - e.g. - Martini In The Morning reads something like MartiITM,  so for me a simple Martini looks better.

Thanks Mike. I restarted my iPhone & UQ2, then tried again. No joy. I'll try deleting/reinstalling the app when I get a chance. Or maybe I'll try shortening all the text names first. Maybe the bug is related to long names.

It's better, though not perfect with the 4.3 update. It still gets confused sometimes, including to show multiples of the same preset while moving the presets around in Preset Edit mode in the Naim app on an iPhone 5S. However, it's improved to the point, where if I persist with enough iterations of reordering and saving, I can eventually get the presets sorted as desired.

Just to clarify, I mean the 4.3 firmware update (on my UQ2).

4.3 has no effect on the app,  the app does its own thing.

The behavior is markedly improved for me. So I'm wondering why. Not the drag and drop behavior in the Naim app (which is still buggy), but the resulting update of the new preset order on the streamer when you save after editing the order within the app.

There is of course some sort of handshake between the app and the streamer, which actually stores the list of presets. Outside of the drag and drop quirks, the more significant problem is that when I save the presets after editing, the order on the streamer actually gets more scrambled instead of reflecting the edits that I try to save. So it seems like the preset order synch process, from the app to the streamer, has bugs.

BTW, my iPhone app version remains the same (4.5). I'm also on the same IOS version as before (8.3). My UQ2 is hardwired to my network. However, since the last attempt, I did happen to relocate my wireless router closer to the UQ2 where I use the app on my iPhone (typically while sitting at my desk, which is adjacent to my digital rack which includes my UQ2). Perhaps that makes a difference?

Or I suppose that right after updating the streamer f/w, perhaps some internal streamer caches of some sort were cleared, which as a side effect, happened to make preset reordering easier at that point in time?
