Song/Track of the day

Posted by: Musicraft (Derby) on 24 May 2015

I am asked almost daily as to what music I listen to. Although my tastes vary and despite all the music that is on everyday however what I do like to look out for daily is a song/track that has particularly grabbed my attention. So, as this is a Bank holiday weekend a Chill out track to start with -

Sub Sub - Past

Keep me in your heart” - Warren Zevon.

This was written when he knew he was dying from cancer - listen to the lyrics with that in mind ...

Madeleine Peyroux covered it well too.

Some Like It Hot - The Power Station

I just love the way the percussion jumps out of the speakers from side to side with plenty of snap and drive. A good workout for the amp and loudspeakers.
