I went to see them in Sunderland on Monday and they were brilliant. 2 1/2 hours and 30+ songs so you definitely get your monies worth.

Grohl is a great frontman and certainly gets the crowd going. Kaiser Chiefs were a good support act too.

You'll have a great time. Let us know how it was.

They were superb Nigel, and you are right he is an excellent front man.  Venue wasn't great, far too full and too much alcohol consumed by a few but it was still an experience.  You were lucky with the Kaiser Chiefs, who I'm watching later this month, we had Teenage Fan Club who I didn't rate.  An unexpected highlight was the Foos playing ACDC songs!

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your night.

I don't think that there are many bands that can get away with performing in such a large venue, but the Foo's are definitely one. Performing at that level for such a long tour (especially 2- 3 hours a concert) must certainly take its' toll as well.

A friend of mine saw them in Manchester, he said they were excellent.
