Ask women who have to compete in the workplace, have to apply for jobs and promotions and fight for equal terms and pay.

Who is queen and for how long is a mere matter of happenstance fortunate only to the queen. Education, ability and experience had nothing to do with her arrival there.

I was trying to convey the notion that the "right to queendom" is all about circumstance (i.e., heredity), and has nothing to do with job qualifications or equal opportunities, per the OP's premise. Perhaps Bruce said it better before me. My post was a reaffirmation of his. And perhaps, as a colonist, I should abstain from commenting on matters related to the monarchy.
