UnitiServe interrupts actions with "Please Wait..."

Having recently upgraded my UnitiServe version 1.7b I now notice that when I am performing operations via the browser interface, the message "Please Wait..." on a screen displaying a Naim CD appears.

 

This happens about every 15 seconds and returns me to the Home Menu each time.

 

Anyone else experienced this, and if so how can it be cured?

Ive never seen that behavior; I'd start with properly shutting down, then restarting, the uServe.

Yep, sometimes the oldest suggestions are the best. Turn it off, and turn it on again! If that doesn't work, maybe try restarting your whole network as well.

I should add that I rarely use the browser interface.  One thing the browser interface seems to do better for me is to set up new backup destinations.  I can never seem to get it right with nServe for OS X, but can via the browser view.  I blame me.
