Trans Fats banned in US foods

This strikes me as rather significant. I believe that a lot of processed food still contains trans fats in spite of previous health warnings. (Does this open the way for lawsuits?)

About time we did the same thing in the UK as well.

Must only be a matter of time for the UK (EU?) and other jurisdictions to follow suit. To be honest, I previously downplayed the health warnings in my mind. "Everything in moderation" I tend to believe. That they will be banned altogether is quite confronting and must have met some serious resistance from vested interests.

Governments here tend to like to do a voluntary solution to anything to do with big business rather than legislate.
