Wise words from Melody Gardot

But it's OK to play on a mullet?
Yes, there is a danger they might actually make it sound any good! Nice of her to warn us all.
It's a terrific album, possibly her best work yet, IMHO...
Indeed nice words. I normally don't listen to the lyrics as such, but listen to the voice as an instrument, so I normally don't get into the thought behind the music, unless I am faced with a concept album.... But I will try to listen a bit better to this album, and her concert on North Sea Jazz Festival...
Brilliant. I'll definitely buy this now, the extended version too.
Well worth it. The whole package makes a strong case for buying the physical product.
According to the press release quoted on my record shops website the album was recorded with "analog equipment, old microphones and tube amplifiers real tape" (fake tape anyone ), with all instruments tuned to A=432 Hz.
The sound bites sound promising, I will spend the 15 €.

Qobuz has a write up on the 24 bit / 44.1 KHz version here.
I wonder where the Caution is printed on the download.

There is no mention of bass (guitar). I assume it's played by Larry Klein, if there is one.
It's superb. I've enjoyed all her other albums but this is a real step up and has been on repeat play rather a lot.
