New Toy!

Well, I grovelled a bit, but SWMBO has let me buy a G&L L2000 Tribute Bass Guitar, and an Orange CrushPix 50watt bass amp.

As usual, I am told "You're not allowed to buy any MORE guitars". How long do you think I should wait before I raise the topic of a Gibson Les Paul ...

Never owned a bass guitar before, but already have 6 'ordinary' guitars. After all we know the answer to the question "how many guitars does a guitarist need". (just one more ...)

I've had a number of bases and never regretted it but I have always slightly regreted never owning a Les Paul (and a Ducati 996), so I would say go for it and enjoy
