NDX + spotify + android

I am thinking of getting an NDX. Here in Sweden the vast majority are using the internet streaming music service spotify and I think that it is here to stay and in the future will alo also provide non-compressed files. Therefor I wonder if the NDX is "future proof" i.e. can you connect it to music servers such as Spotify or will you be able to do this in the future?

I know that you can use an iphone to navigate an NDX, but what about an android phone or android tablet PC?
