can't find music anymore on my Synology NAS with the naim app

from 4 weeks ago i can't find any track on the NAS synology
Could it be with the naim update of the naim app?
I have NDX & Synology DS214
The Synology has been thru' all the updates from 4 series to 5 & the 5.2 troubles, I'm on the Naim beta test team & uploaded all the many stages of firmware tests & app changes, plus a whole lot of other stuff - the app has never failed to see the NAS & the NDX play .
Have you tried resetting or even delete & reinstall the Naim app
Do you have the UPnP input switched on
Have you tried rebooting (restarting) Synology & NDX
Its hard to understand why this is without more information: what is the set up, wired or wireless, what wireless router, do you have everything set for DHCP (dynamic IP Address), what app ?? (iOS or Android)
My NDX is hardwired, Off-course my iPhone 6 with iOS and the naim app is wireless
My NAS is already being restarted. My naim app not jet.
The strange thing is that some file will be found, only in a different map. And the map where they should be is empty.
DHCP etc... i don't know much about that.
Just remove the naim app, and installed it again. And yes, my files are back
I would go thru a number of things
- Re-Index the NAS - Open your Synology web page > Control Panel > Media Indexing - Re-Index
- Clear both UPnP caches
- When both are done: power off the switch > on Naim Input button select UPnP (NAS) .... Naim display will show No Network - turn on switch (wait 5 seconds - press Naim OK/List button ...... it should now show the NAS
Look in app & see if NAS is now shown & functioning OK
Just remove the naim app, and installed it again. And yes, my files are back
Aha, same as clearing the caches
I would also re-index when you have time, also a new 5.2 is now available to install
Re-indexing i already done that before.
