NDS SQ after 4.3 Firmware Upgrade

Posted by: Chag... on 05 July 2015

While a dedicated thread well reflects on NDX SQ after 4.3, very little has been posted on NDS so far.

For those nice members who have updated their NDS, how great is really 4.3? Do PCM conversion and network playing benefit from it or could the addition of a few (secondary) functions be somewhat detrimental to original SQ?

Just asking before I take the plunge for Rachel and Julia in native DSD.

If the details of what went on during the series 3 stuff progression is still bugging you afterwards,  then get back to it later.

I agree.  The progression over the past 2 years is rather moot.  I understand being curious, but if you're trying to pick the "best" version for you . . . you're WAY over-thinking this.

Important recent additions include support for Spotify, support for multi-room playback, DSD playback, support for BBC HLS streaming (if you're in the UK), and a fix for the Fault 36 issues that a few owners were experiencing.  (What am I missing??)
