I have a 2nd generation shuffle but my UQ isn't recognizing it .Dock into usb port, switching On/off but no way.

Also it is in active mode in the menu.

Am I missing something?

Just a guess, but maybe the Shuffle OS is too primitive to be recognized by the UQ. It certainly has minimal functionality compared to a standard iPod of the day.

I hope so, I would be mad at discovering i was sold a damaged UQ.

Considering that the Shuffle is a completely different beast from the other iPods i would not expect it to work, unless the manual says it should.

I was trying to figure out of that particular Shuffle meets the MFi specs, but I've not found the answer.
