Can't get NAIM app to connect to Unitiqute

Posted by: najibs on 14 July 2015

I recently bought a used 24/192 Unitiqute, which has the Spotify firmware installed. The issue I'm having is that I've downlaoded the Naim app to my iPad, but I'm not quite sure how to get the app to 'see' the unitiqute. All it offers me is to connect a Naim Mu-so or some option about manually setting up rooms.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Tap on the the Find My Rooms option najibs.

That should then bring up your Unitiqute in the next screen.

Tap on that and then you should be up and running.

Im pretty sure I tried that, but it could not find any rooms. Any other ideas as to why that is? Do I need to set a room in the unitiqute? I'm not at home right now so I cant verify until later...

The "rooms" feature is a bout two sytems like your UQ & a Mu-so on the same app

In addition to the suggestion from ChrisH,  go to the app settings (the gear tool top right corner) in Input Settings, turn multiroom off.

You can add it manually rather than relying on network discovery.

From the Rooms screen in the app, tap the three dots top right.   Enter the IP address of your Qute and give the room a name eg lounge.  Then tap add at the bottom and you should find a logo for the Qute appears.
