HDX Ripping errors- Anyone had same problem ?

My HDX has developed an intermittent problem ripping CD's. Getting random track errors on most recent attempts to rip (but not all strangely). Have email ready to go to Phil and Steve as assume this will be a transport problem / back to base repair but thought I would share in-case anyone else has had similar experience/ input.

May be worth just trying a cleaning CD first in case of dust on the lens

Many thanks ,had tried that without success. Naim think prob transport issue which hopefully the dealer could fit which saves sending it back to them.
