Asset trial - limitations?

Hopefully someone can stop me tearing my hair out.

Are there limitations with the trial version of Asset on a PC that would stop it serving up all the files in a directory? For some reason, only certain albums are showing up.

Minim server sees everything as it should

Hi Andy,

no limitations to serve up the files I am also using it and never have issue. You will of course not have the full breath of functionality as it can offer with an registered version, but so far I haven't missed anything. Did you properly re trigger a scan of the database or if you keep on having problems just make a complete rescan of the database that should help you.

Rescan does nothing...

It's very strange, I'll try and explain.

I had approx 100 albums on my HD, and had asset scan them. Whilst Asset reports that it recognises there's 100 albums there, only 50 show up in the naim app. Rescanning doesn't help.

So... as a test, I deleted everything except one album that previously did not show up, and rescanned. Then I could see it.

But, then I added another album, from the 50 I 'could' previously see, and rescanned. This then removed the other!
