Problem playing DSD files on N272

I've just bought my first DSD album - I chose 64 DSF as I understand the Naim streamers will play these (With V4.3 running).

Playing off a usb stick works fine, but the naim app doesn't see the album over upnp -I'm running a Qnap NAS with asset. Wondered if anyone had come up against this.

My Synology played DSD without any need to do anything with both the native Syn UPnP & Minimserver

My guess is its something simple in Asset so some reserch or an Asset expert is required ..........

I know someone with ND5 & Qnap & (I believe (?)) he has Asset & it plays DSD OK

Thanks not deserved Harty, I was just saying I know someone with Qnap & I believe Asset (it was when I last played with it) & I know he plays DSD64. He is away on hols at the moment otherwise I would call him for some tips.

I've not Asset knowledge - my Synology & Asset don't talk to each other mores the pity.

DSD is only currently supported in Asset UPnP in the latest Windows release, 5.0 or above as per the Asset UPnP home page. No doubt this release will trickle down through the other platforms soon enough.
