Naim confusion on liquid music

The availability of various products Naim creates confusion :-(

I currently own Naim DAC+Naim CD5 XS + XPS power supply for the DAC.

I want to switch to liquid music to have the convenience of easily change tracks, look for a higher quality and also take advantage of the HD music files.

I have tried using MacBookPro + M2Tech hiface2 + dedicated PSU USB + external had drive USB + Naim DAC but the sound loses "Naim tone" and not as exciting as Naim DAC + Naim CD5 XS.

I would then remain with all Naim products.

What is better as a combination in terms of audio quality?

Or they are all the same because then use outbound Naim DAC?

1) Naim Unitiserve/External dedicated PSU (not Naim) + Naim DAC/XPS

2) Naim ND5 XS/XPS + Naim DAC/XPS + external hard disks USB with dedicated external PSU USB

3) Naim NDX/XPS + Naim DAC/XPS + external hard disks USB with dedicated external PSU USB

Combining 1 I like it because it seems the most logical.

What would give me more the 2 and 3 combination ?

I use an iPad Mini, but since replacing my old iPhone 4 with a 6 last year, I find the larger phone good enough, and that's what I use most of the time.

Until I got my router sorted out, I would have agreed iOS has a clear advantage.

Personally I'm just as happy with the interface of the Naim Android app as with the iOS app, and now the UPnP control point connection from the Android tablet is just as reliable.
