Software upgrade for Unitiserve.

Just reading through the Unitiserve manual..at 2.7 software upgrade... Insert cd ..has there been any cd's issued ever...?

Early on in my US ownership my dealer gave me a Naim labelled upgrade CD to do the upgrade.

I seem to remember that users could request one from Naim Support if required, but they werent on a general issue to all registered owners.

I guess its easier just to burn one with the files on when the updates are released though.

Yes I think burning the update file to a CD is seen as trivial enough that Naim expect you to be able to do it. However fewer new PCs and Macs have an optical drive these days and so there will gradually be more customers who can't easily do that.
