New to streaming

I have just bought the Uniti and am exploring its features. I want to stream from my PC but am not sure which is the best format i should be using to get the best results. Also can i stream directly from Windows Media player and itunes using Windows 7???

You can stream directly from Windows Media Player on Windows 7, but not in WMA format. AAC or Mp3 will be fine. If you want to use iTunes you will need to install some UPNP server software. Asset seems to be popular on Windows.
