Hi All,
Is anyone using the NDX digital inputs to connect an A/V system of some sort (TV/Blu-ray/set-top box)? If so, are there any sync issues between picture and sound? I'd like to verify that the buffering used by the DAC doesn't introduce any latency in audio processing that causes audio to go out of sync with picture.
Thanks,
Adrian

No guarantees - if your video sources have to fold down surround material, the delay may be variable based on audio bitstream format (and likely by number of surround channels).
This applies to any fold-down-to-PCM scenario. In many cases, the perceived improvement from better conversion is minimal - my Xfinity cable box (manufactured by Motorola) is every bit as good via stereo analogue as when processed as linear PCM.

I've used NDX's optical input with TV and PS3 as the source and noticed zero sync problems.
I think the buffering is only for networked/stream inputs like UPnP & iRadio?
