1.5 m Burndy other manufacturer than Naim?

For some time I have wanted my active system split into 3 racks instead of 2, so I could remove all power supplies and servers away from the Fraim, and use the new third rack.

My dealer offered me a good deal on a Danish rack system called Clic, a rack mostly geared towards design, but it works fine, probably close to Fraim Lite. So the new setup is:

Right rack Clic Supercap for 252 Supercap for Snaxo.

Middel Rack Fraim 4 standard shelfs. Ndac on the buttom shelf. 252 on the top shelf. Snaxo placed on a wall mounted shelf.

Right rack ns01 ps 555 nap 200 nap 250 nap 250

Going from 2 racks to 3 turned out to be a big improvement. Since I needed a 1.5 meter cable between 252 and supercap, I had my Chord Sarum upgraded to super, so that has also been part of the improvement.

what I did not think of at  the time we planned this upgrade, was the placement of the burndy socket on the Ndac. Since it is in the middel of the back the standard 1.25 m Burndy is to short to place the ps 555 on the right rack. How much improvement it would give to remove the ps 555 from the right rack I do not know, and as I understand it nonstandard length of burndy cables are really expensive. I looked around on the net yesterday and found an american ebay seller that seem to offer other lengths of Burndy, but is it worth trying instead of Naim made burndies? I am not sure if this is allowed to discuss on the forum at all?

I know the brand (I think). It can invalidate the warranty so it wont be recommended on the forum. Use your best judgement.

Use of anything other than a Naim Burndy cable with Naim kit is an unauthorised modification.  As such, it won't perform as intended and may well cause damage to the system.  Needless to say, discussion of such a thing on here is not allowed.
