Very disappointed !

Posted by: phosphocreatine on 16 October 2015

On the Naim Audio Facebook page appeared the High End Swiss 2015 event so, due to the fact that I was in Zurich for the Diana Krall concert, I took the car, drove for 1/2 hour, paid the parking of the Hotel Moevenpick (the hotel of the audio show), paid the ticket of the show to discover that ...... Naim is not present at this event

If this tendency continues, soon there will be no Swiss High End any more, which seems to be in contrast what happens at the Munich High End.

The Swiss distributor for Naim seems to invest now more in road shows at their dealers

And by the way, there was/is a list of all brands at the show which was on the homepage of the Highendsociety since several weeks.

Typical Swiss customer service attitude.

Why don't they actually promote the show instead of letting it die? I had no idea that it even exists.

Switzerland is more present than ever,

and has wealthy people from around the world.

Our country attracts more wealthy than any other country in the world,

Naim should look at the average buying power of our little country.

And then decide if Checktone is the right partner, giving the figures of sales

compared to the sales around CH, comparing to the rest of Germany.

If Salisbury cannot do this, no wonder some private equity sharks are after their skins.

And they have them.

Good luck to all...

Well no, the Swiss High End is actually not Swiss but organized by the German High End Society. So who ever has to promote it remains to be seen.

But still it is a pity what's happening. Munich is not so far away from Switzerland, maybe people prefer to spend some days in Munich (which really is a beautiful city and has excellent beer) than visit a show where many important brands are not displayed (Naim, Devialet and many others)...

Munich has no beer, it is garba...

and Munich is not beautiful to me at all.

And quite certainly it has nothing to do with the Swiss fine culture,

doubt that some Germans tried to organize the event in Zurich.

You got to be kidding..

No need for research on beer.

Hey keep smiling, the trumpet is with Miles, because he can play.

Just had a little hick-up,

Munich and Switzerland has absolutely nothing in common.

And what ever you say it will never even come close...

Before I forget, no wonder the Zurich event f..ced up under German Management.

This German nation has lost all sense proportions in my opinion.

Look at your beautiful Mrs. Merkel.

Keep smiling

Nooner!

I don't know what you have against German people but your comments are useless, very unpleasent and far from appropriate in a music forum. But naturally this is my opinion !

P.S. I'm not German !

Good for you not to be German,

Certainly I am not against any German.

It is just the attitude that they think they could compete everywhere,

or even give other people the illusion that Bavaria has something in common with Switzerland

This is why I am in a Naim forum-

I love my Porsche.

Originated in Austria

Yeahh...., right its about music,

So far Naim SN 2 has left the impression to me for the best VFM, my audition with my H..o into 250DR and 300 DR directly did not meet my expectations.

Just listening from Hugo to HD 800 Krall, can it be better?

A big smile from Zurigo

Yes I realise that it is organised by the same people that organise Munich. But they are still dependent on Swiss distributers having a positive attitude. Which they don't.

I had an interesting surprise on Saturday. I found a new bar near HB that had 24 different beers from all around the world on tap. They will get many a repeat visit.
