Can't get Tidal 90 day trial to work

Signed up via the Naim app, which takes me to a page showing a redeem code (beginning "C").  Clicking on redeem takes me to a Tidal page where I enter the code and it says it isn't valid.

 

If I login to Tidal via explorer on my PC and go to Account Overview then Voucher and enter the same code I get the same error.

 

Anyone else seen this or have a fix for it?  Is the redeem code unique per account or global for all Naim users?

Did you have a Tidal account previously? If so you need to set up a new account with a new email address. The voucher should then work. Log out of the old account, close the app, open the app and set up the new account.

Thanks HH.  No, I didn't have an account previously.

 

I think it has worked however.  I thought I would try a different account so I went to cancel this one and it said that it would terminate in mid-January.

 

I think what threw me was that I didn't see any notification that the code had been accepted and that I now had 90 days free.  Likely that trying the same code twice just threw up the error I saw, although it would have been clearer if it had just said "already applied" or something like that.

 

So, now all I have to do is figure out why streaming isn't working...

I know I've read it on here but can't seem to find it now, how does one get the free tidal trial via the Naim app?

This process worked for me (tried a few different ways)

1) Attempt to signup from Naim App. First page gave me the voucher code

2) Created an account from my pc

3) Add Credit Card details

4) Select subscription

5) Apply voucher code

You can't apply a voucher code until 3 & 4 are completed

 

In hindsight I could of done it all from the app but the fact it was asking me for cc info threw me. I thought i was about to be charged. You just have to follow their process.
