Naim Lavender

Hi all,

I have recently moved from a 122x/150x/Flatcap2 to 202/200/Hicap2 and I am loving the improvements. More bass, more detail, more sparkle...just superb! I have seen many forum members say that the 202/200 combo is lean and shrill, but so far I can't detect any of these negative attributes!

I am currently using a Chord Cobra RCA-RCA cable, which sounds nice, but many have said that I would be better using an RCA-DIN cable from my 2Qute Dac.

I can't really afford to go wild, so I was looking online and noticed Naim's Lavender interconnect for £100 or so, but I could only find DIN-DIN, not RCA-DIN.

Do Naim make one it will I have to go to another brand?

Thanks in advance!

I'm fairly sure that Naim can supply one. You should have a word with your dealer. One other thing: try to get a napsc for your 202, it makes a huge difference. You may be able to find a used one for about £150.

Yes an official Naim Lavender interconnect may be had from your Naim retailer with a pair of RCA Phonos at the source end and correct DIN plug at the pre-amplifier end.

I bought one such about three years ago, though I sold it when I got a Naim DAC V1.

Great thanks for the info both.

HH yes I think I will go for a Napsc very soon as I've heard very good things about it..very reasonable price too!
